It all started 10 years ago, with the Legacy Site. Back then, Whisper of a Memory was a themed site with several creative writing pieces, book excerpts, and random images of special significance to the author. The main focus was that of spiritual seeking, with some image references to both video games and anime.

The first spin-off site, Psy/Emanation began 6 years ago. It was written in a similar vein as the original, but with more attention given to games. Central to the site's content was the search for identity and meaning through the blurry reality of an alternate persona. It was once home to the psy/emanation forum (now closed) and is the predecessor to the current Whisper of a Memory Blog.

Though both legacy sites have had a 2010 design update, neither will receive content updates until further notice. For the sake of nostalgia, old content on both sites will remain mostly untouched.
